The next monthly Teesdale Business Networking Group meeting will be on Wednesday 13th March, starting at 9.30 at Enterprise House. The March speaker is Steven Robson, the chief executive of the South Durham Enterprise Agency.

His presentation will focus on The Durham Food and Drinks Network that is being delivered in partnership with the three local Enterprise Agencies, South Durham Enterprise Agency, East Durham Business Services and CDC Enterprise Agency.
The network is available for small food and drink producers and businesses and can provide access to industry-specific business support, subsidised learning events, new routes to market and information resources.
The short presentation will give a brief introduction to the programme, the kind of support on offer and how to sign up to the network’s fantastic range of resources.
The network is funded through Durham Business Opportunities Programme (DBOP). The programme is delivered by Business Durham, the economic development organisation for County Durham, working on behalf of Durham County Council, and is funded by the European Regional Development fund.
Also, Steven will update attendees on the funding channels available outside this particular network, namely the Durham-only fund for capital items (soon to be launched) and the loan funds available.
There will be plenty of time for networking and making new business contacts.
Light breakfast refreshments will be available and all businesses are welcome, with just a £3 cover charge (payable on the day).
It will help us greatly with the catering order if you let either Lynn Todhunter or Jacquie Warner know if you plan to attend by email: firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 01833 696750.
